Mr Mohammed Rafiq – an international environmental expert, led interested BSL members through a training session on how to focus on, action and monitor company initiatives on the biodiversity related SDGs. This specially tailored half day training was held on 23rd November 2017.
Following interactive modes of imparting knowledge, Mr Rafiq provided simple yet focused and easy to use methods on actioning work related to the SDGs – Life on Land, Life below water, Sustainable consumption and production, Climate Action and Clean water and sanitation focusing on the importance of establishing partnerships towards making a more meaningful and collective impact from the private sector.
Participants saw immense value in the training and expressed ways in which they would take their learning for wider company use in their journeys towards sustainability.
