It has been a year since the coming into force of the Nagoya Protocol on Access to Genetic Resources and the Fair and Equitable Sharing of Benefits Arising from their Utilization at the twelfth Conference of Parties (COP 12) to the Convention on Biological Diversity held in Pyeongchang, Republic of Korea.
